OBJECTIVE：To explore the management measures of effective period of medications in outpatient pharmacy. METHODS： According to the work experience and the relevant regulations of drug administration, the management measures of effective period of medications in outpatient pharmacy were summarized. RESULTS ： Through scientific management of effective period, the medications were used in the effective period, so as to ensure the medication safety for patients. CONCLUSIONS： The management of effective period of medications in outpatient pharmacy is essential for ensuring the medication safety and reducing the wastage.
