Summary: | I have probably mentioned the mixed feelings I have as editor of the Completed Careers Column: while it is a sad duty to let you know of the passing of a colleague and friend to many of us, it is also an honour and privilege to know more about the person behind just the career. This is no less true with Dale Svetanoff. Dale is someone I knew from the International Symposium on EMC, although not terribly well. I hadn't realised how active in the amateur radio community he was. I hope you enjoy the couple of stories from colleagues below. |
