Summary:For the use of unmanned aerial vehicles, we are studying a new type of navigation method which provides their precise position and direction using laser ranging and camera imaging, instead of GNSS (global navigation satellite system) and IMU (Inertial measurement Unit). In this manuscript we describe the component requirement and the principal computation model based on the bundle adjustment. The result of the examination using the model shows that our studying method will work efficiently.
