Bibliography:OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the clinical efficacy of levofloxacin combined with kangfu Anti-inflammatory suppository in the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease.METHODS: 124 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease treated in the 264th Hospital of PLA from December 2012 to May 2014 were divided into two groups using block randomization:combination group(62 cases) received levofloxacin injection combined with Kangfu anti-inflammatory suppository, and single-medication group ( 62 cases ) received levofloxacin alone. The levels of inflammatory markers and clinical efficacy after treatment were compared between two groups.RESULTS: The total response rate in the combination group was higher than in single-medication group ( 98.3% vs.88.7%) , showing statistically significant differences betweent the two groups ( P〈0.05 ); statistically significant differences were also noted betweent the two groups in levels of inflammatory markers ( white blood cell count, C reactive protein and procalcitonin and in
