Cuneiform inscriptions made visible on bronze plates from the Upper Anzaf Fortress, Turkey
A large bronze hoard was uncovered at the Upper Anzaf Fortress, a first millenium BC site near Lake Van in modern Turkey. Inscriptions on some of the bronze fragments were studied and deciphered.
