Summary: | Two-phase chemisorption in the liquid in vertical channels irrigated by a thin film of absorbent solution under the countercurrent flow conditions is investigated for the case that the process is complicated by an irreversible second-order chemical reaction. The problem is solved for the third quadrant of the plane of dimensionless hydrodynamic variables. A method for designing a contact device under arbitrary conditions is presented. |
