Summary: | In consumer electronics, Industry 5.0 offers the potential to combine human expertise with advanced technologies. This convergence creates opportunities for real-time healthcare services to be provided to remote consumers. Internet of Things (IoT) devices also play a crucial role in capturing and transmitting consumer monitoring data for analysis and review. However, the traditional approach to centralize IoT data processing and storage comes with risks such as data manipulation and privacy breaches. Blockchain technology provides a solution to these challenges. By decentralizing computation and storage for IoT data, blockchain has the potential to revolutionize the e-healthcare industry. We focus on proposing a blockchain-based solution for securely sharing user health data among authorized stakeholders. Our access control architecture, based on blockchain technology, allows authorized parties to access data independently, eliminating the need for trusted intermediaries. This approach is particularly advantageous in scenarios where third-party dependencies could hinder real-time data sharing. We have rigorously tested and validated our design to ensure its effectiveness and reliability. |
