The significance of undergraduate thesis is pointed out. The importance of references of the undergraduale thesis is expounded, and the problems of writing and management of references are summarized. Evaluation on both normalization and cited quality of references are studied and practiced. A software tool is designed tor automated evaluation which can detect record normalization based on template matching, and check the cited quality o1 reterenccs by gray correlation analysis. Normalization and cited quality of references are quantitatively analyzed through experiments. The tool can provide basis, methods and tools ibr enhancing quality of undergraduate theses.
