The mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)signal pathway is a key intracellular signal transduction pathway,which plays important roles in cell proliferation,apoptosis,cell cycle and metabolism.Dysregulation of mTOR signalling often occurs in a variety of human malignant diseases,making it a crucial and validated target in the treatment of cancer.More recently,microRNAs are involved in modulation of a wide range of biological processes and human diseases.Evidence collected to date shows that microRNA regulate mTOR pathway through direct and indirect interactions.The mTOR pathway is a promising target by miRNAs for therapy.
