The multi-objective grey relation projection method was used to analyze the ecological adaptability of Idesia polycarpa which had been planted for 1 and 2 years at Zhongliang mountain,Yangjiawan of Wanzhou and Xintian of Pengshui,where the 3 areas existed rocky desertification,and planting I.polycarpa was to control rocky desertification,with the annual net growth rates of plant height,ground diameter and crown,lateral branch number,leaf area and raw heavy of leaf as the comparative indicators.Results showed that the adaptability of I.polycarpa planted for 2 years was better than that planted for 1 year,and the area showed that Yangjiawan was the best,and Xintian was the second,while moun
