Nutritional requirement of shrimp is related with species,developmental stage,nutrition sources,and environmental factors and so on,at the same time there are also interactions among each of them. Based on both home and abroad research progresses of nutritional requirement of shrimp larva,this article summarized the demand for protein in different development stage and the utilization of different protein sources of shrimp larva;amino acids composition and the optimum adding amount in diet of shrimp larva;essential fatty acids composition and the optimum adding amount in diet and the influence of bait for fatty acid composition in shrimp larva;the demand for phospholipids,cholesterol and vitamins of shrimp larva;demand and the optimum proportion of mineral element of shrimp larva.
