The RNG k- ε turbulent model,finite volume method,and structured grids were adopted to numerically simulate the interior three- dimensional flow of siphonic outlet pipe with different design parameters in pumping station. On the basis of numerical simulation results,the effects of main design parameters of siphonic outlet pipe on the siphon forming time and hydraulic loss were quantitatively analyzed. The results indicated that: the climbing angle should be 30° - 45°; the height- width ratio of hump section should be 0. 6 - 1. 0; the curvature radius should be 0. 8D - 1. 4D; the descending angle of descending branch should be60° - 82°.
