In the first half of 2015,pig market of Guangdong province first declined then was up. Hog industry developed steadily,but growth rate was slow. In marketing,hog price had a small increase compared with the same period of last year,the pig grain ratio stayed stably in the green normal area in June. With the impact of hog price rising,pig breeding efficiency achieved profitability in the first half of 2015. The paper mainly analyzed the cost efficiency and later trend of pig market,provided some strategies and suggestions for dealing with high breeding cost,short pig period,and multiple situation of epidemic disease,in order to better promote the healthy development of hog industry in Guangdong.
