NDA timing recovery; absolute value nonlinear; prefilter; postfilter
When the roll-off factor of shaping pulse is low, an improved timing recovery scheme is proposed. The proposed scheme is based on absolute nonlinear, prefilter and postfilter. Simulation and theoretical analysis show that it has a significant performance gain over traditional square timing recovery scheme when roll-off factor is between 0. 1 and 0.4.
