According to the problems existing in remotely monitoring of the base of voltage towers,the wireless real-time monitoring system for the stability of the base of voltage towers is designed by combining the RS-485 and GPRS communication technology,MSP430 micro controller unit and Web network technology.The structure and functions,the hardware design and the means of communications with the upper computer of the monitoring system are described emphatically.After on-site installation and longterm operation,the system works stably and is able to achieve the expected require,has high application values.
