Bibliography:A total of 15 pathogens of piglet polyarthritis were isolated from sick piglets in 32 pig farms in Shandong province. These bacterial isolates were identified by morphological staining, isolation and culture, biochemical tests and PCR amplification of species specific genes.Four isolates were identified as Haemophilus parasuis, seven isolates were identified as Streptococcus suis, two isolates were identified as Arcanobacterium pyogenes, one isolate was identified as Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae, another isolate was identified as Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae. The mice virulence test indicated these isolates were lethal to mice.Drug susceptibility tests showed that these isolates were all highly sensitive to cepovenin and most isolates were highly sensitive to penicillin antibiotics, cefaloglycin, fluoroquinolones, vancomycin and spectinomycin. It suggested that the pathogens of piglet polyarthritis in pig farms in Shandong province were mainly H.parasuis and S.suis and the sensitive antibiotics can be alternately admi
