The effects of different Al concentrations(0,20,100,400 μmol/L) and different treatment time (0,3,6,12,24 h) on root tips growth, reactive oxygen concentrations and antioxidant enzyme activities of peanut varieties ZH2 (Al-sensitive) and 99-1507 (Al-tolerant) were studied. The results showed that Al concentration above 100 μmoL/L could inhibit peanut root tip growth and induce oxidative burst significantly.Oxidative burst peek appeared earlier with Al concentration increasing.Oxidative content was significant higher in ZH2 than in 99-1507.With increasing Al concentration and treatment time,MDA contents and SOD activities increased. The increment was higher in ZH2 than in 99-1507.The activities of POD and CAT increased firstly, and then kept stably.APX activity decr
