New wireless chip JN5148 which has TOF ranging function has been tested. Based on the analysis of horizontal dilution of precision of mobile vehicle node, linear localization algorithm was designed, and a high-precision vehicle localization algorithm combining TOF/RSSI and odometer was put forward. Simulation results indicate that the combined vehicle localization algorithm has a wonderful effect, and it has good reference value for engineering application of perfecting the advanced public trans- portation system.
