In order to make clear the appropriate sowing date and planting density of hybrid japonica late rice variety Huayou 14 in Jiangxi, we carried out a plot test for different sowing dates and planting seedling quantities of this variety in 2013.The results indicated that when Huayou 14 was planted as double -cropping late rice on the Poyang Lake plain , its appropriate sowing date was during the last twenty-day of June, proper seedling age was 25~30 days, and 3 or above 3 seedlings should be transplanted in a clump.At last, the author discussed the high -e
