[Objective]Natural community structure and species diversity characteristics in Ormosia saxatilis fiehl un- der two different intensities of disturbance were studied to provide theoretical references for community protection, conser- vation and sustainable utility of species diversity. [Method]By using conventional coenology investigation method with six typical community plots, the characteristics of species diversity of Ormosia saxatilis communities under two differcnt inten- sities of disturbance were analyzed based on species richness index, the Shannon-Wiener and Simpson biodiversity index, and the pielou evenness index.
