Zhuyu sweet No.1 was a new sweet corn variety bred by crossing with the inbred line Zhuxuan GT-128 as female parent and Zhuxuan GT-99 as male parent by Zhuhai Agricultural Science Research Center.Sweet corn regional test in Guangdong province during 2009 to 2010 showed that the yield of Zhuyu sweet No.1 was remarkably higher than the control,as well as,it had the characters of high yield,high sweetness,thin pericarp,high quality,good adaptability and fine comprehensive agronomic characters.To sum up,Zhuyu sweet No.1 had wide exploitation foreground in production and it and it was certified and registered by Guangdong Committee for Crop Variety Registration in June.2011.
