The papers are arranged in seven sections: (1) the place of computer science in social and behavioral science, (2) statistics and methodology, (3) social impact, (4) computer-based enhancement in social and behavioral science education, (5) simulation and modeling, (6) bibliographies, and (7) the bottom line. Without attempting to summarize each paper, or even each part, some of the main points and some of the more stimulating ideas deserve mention in order to indicate the range and nature of the contents.
