The special-feature new variety Camellia sinensis ev. 'Yizaol 'was derived from the variant plant in population with middle and little leaves in Sichuan by system selection. Compared with ' Fudindabaieha', ' Yizaol ' had such characteristics as earlier sprouting, stron- ger growth vigor,higher yield, more green and thick leaf ,bigger buds,longer growth period. The green tea from ' Yizaol ' had the features, such as persistent chestnut aroma,yellow-green and blight liquor.
