S_（PIDER_ and BarcodingR,are new R packages implementing a number of useful functions for DNA barcoding analyses and associated research into species speciation. Both of them avoid limitations of noncommercial computer programs and provide convenience and operability for user. Here we demonstrated the main functions of the two packages with Tibet moth,pine moth datasets.
