Infrared photoacoustic spectroscopy was used to quantify quality parameters of rapeseeds including nitrogen content, oil content and erucic acid content. Results show that infrared photoacoustic spectroscopy can be used for the quantification of quality parameters of rapeseeds. Compared to full-spectrum modeling, modeling based on spectral interval selection can lead to improved performance.
