Professor Moustapha Hassan is currently Director of the Preclinical Laboratory at Karolinska University Hospital-Huddinge, Stockholm, Sweden, as well as Professor of Transplantation Research at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Karolinska Institutet Huddinge, Stockholm, Sweden. His research focuses on personalized medicine, pre-transplant conditioning and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), and he is the inventor of liposomal busulfan. Associate Professor Manuchehr Abedi-Valugerdi is Research Coordinator at the Department of Laboratory Medicine, Karolinska Institutet Huddinge, Stockholm, Sweden. He is an immunologist, and his research focuses mainly om myeloma, chemotherapy and graft-versus-host disease (GVHD).
