Summary:Two new and very similar species of the genus Foerster, 1863 are described and illustrated, Han & van Achterberg, from Japan (Honshu) and van Achterberg, from Norway. Three species are newly reported from Norway: (Thomson, 1895), (Wesmael, 1835), and (Wesmael, 1835). (Wesmael, 1835) and (Fischer, 1963) are new combinations. Identification keys to the species known from Norway and Japan are added.
