Summary:Cawahir al-'Akaid of Hızır Bey, which is known as Kasida al-Nuniyya, is paid special attention in Ottoman period by writing lots of commentaries. To study the commentaries of Nuniyya inclusively would help to understand Ottoman kalam thought. The commentaries written in Ottoman Turkish and Arabic on Nuniyye, especially the commentary of Hayali and the commentaries on Hayali's commentary, has an incomparable importance to investigate Ottoman kalam thought which has continued for five centuries. One of these commentaries is al-Cawahir al-Kalamiyya which has been wrote in Arabic by Lalazari who is known as Sufi scholar. This article aims to find out the importance of al-Cawahir al-Kalamiyya in Ottoman kalam tradition, to enhance knowledge about the writer and the commentary, and finally to understand the tradition of Kasida al-Nuniyya's commentaries.
