Summary:Nanoporous copper/nickel (NP-Cu/Ni) were prepared by electroless plating of Ni-P on nanoporous copper (NP-Cu). The influence of concentration ratio of lactic acid to citric acid on the morphologies and mechanical properties of NP-Cu/Ni was investigated. The results showed that the ligament width increased after electroless plating and the three-dimensional bicontinuous ligament-channel structure was retained. The mechanical properties were improved. NP-Cu/Ni prepared using concentration ratio of 30 g/L : 20 g/L demonstrated the best comprehensive performance. [DOI: 10.1380/ejssnt.2018.310]
