Summary: | [...]a rigorous differentiation between these two conditions has failed due to a paucity of published studies lasting longer than a few days or weeks of cannabis abstinence to reliably exclude a breakthrough of episodic vomiting/emesis as a prerequisite for clearly distinguishing CHS from CVS [4]. Vice versa, the samples included in this review were likely to be not representative for CHS populations alone as a “contamination” with a good portion of CVS cases could not be excluded considering the lack of attention given to the duration of symptom-free periods post-cessation [1]. Conflict of Interest Statement The author declares no conflicts of interest. |
