Lethal ECG changes hidden by therapeutic hypothermia
The first ECG, done by paramedics, showed ventricular fibrillation (VF), and, after defibrillation, sinus rhythm (83 beats per min) with widespread ST segment elevations, suggesting acute myocardial infarction (figure).
