Summary:The Referendum on the Indigenous Voice is a once in a lifetime opportunity to start the process of righting wrongs in our country. Truth-telling and treaty will follow. Establishing a pathway for Aboriginal people to speak directly to Parliament about rules and policies which affect them is fair, proper and overdue. The Voice will ensure they speak at the time rules are made, without a Minister or ministerial and departmental staff mediating their meaning.
