Human metapneumovirus in patients hospitalized with acute respiratory infections: a meta-analysis

Highlights • 6% of acute respiratory infections were linked to human metapneumovirus. • High heterogeneity was observed. • hMPV should be taken into account as a possible etiology in hospitalized ARI.
