Efficacy of lidocaine in the treatment of pruritus in patients with chronic cholestatic liver diseases

Pruritus is a disturbing clinical problem that often complicates chronic cholestatic liver disease. The aim of this study was to determine the efficacy of lidocaine over treatment-resistant pruritus in patients with chronic cholestatic liver disease.
