Summary: | The new hierarchy: c‐TUD‐1, a new aluminosilicate with a hierarchical micro/mesoporous structure, has been successfully synthesized by a steam‐assisted post‐crystallization process. c‐TUD‐1 has large pore size and volume, high surface area, high acid concentration/strength, and high hydrothermal stability, and demonstrates significantly higher activity than either amorphous aluminosilicate or bulky ZSM‐5 in catalytic reactions involving large molecules. |
