Role of Heparin during Endovascular Therapy for Acute Ischemic Stroke

Highlights • Patients who received heparin had significantly lower rates of hemorrhage. • Heparin-treated patients had nonsignificantly higher reperfusion rates. • Heparin use during endovascular therapy for AIS patients was found to be safe.
