Effect of atropine on heart rate turbulence

Heart rate turbulence (HRT) is a recently described measurement of the short-term oscillation in sinus cycle length following a ventricular premature complex (VPC). It has been shown to be a powerful predictor of mortality in patients with acute myocardial infarction and congestive heart failure.
