Highlights • erα, erβ1 and erβ2 partial cDNA of S. argus were cloned. • vtg-A, vtg-B and vtg-C partial cDNA of S. argus were cloned. • Ontogeny expression of three ers and three vtgs in female livers were performed. • The contribution of each Er to the regulation of different vtgs were determined.
