Intraoral molluscum contagiosum imitating a squamous-cell carcinoma in an immunocompetent person – case report and review of the literature

Abstract A case of intraoral molluscum contagiosum involving the right distal alveolar bridge of an immunocompetent person is reported. A review of the literature, with only five previously published cases, revealed that involvement of the oral soft tissues is rare.
