Circulating plasma platinum more than 10 years after cisplatin treatment for testicular cancer
We have shown in patients cured from metastatic testicular cancer that up to 20 years after administration of cisplatincontaining chemotherapy, circulating platinum is still detectable in plasma. This finding may influence the development of longterm, treatment-related side-effects.
