Summary:Diabetic fibrous mastopathy, also known as lymphocytic mastitis, is an uncommon lesion of the breast that occurs in women with long-standing insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM). To my knowledge, the fine-needle aspiration findings of a histologically confirmed case of diabetic fibrous mastopathy have not been previously described and illustrated in the cytology literature.
