Behaviour and prefrontal protein differences in C57BL/6N and 129 X1/SvJ mice

Highlights • Relative to 129X1/SvJ, both sexes of C57BL/6N mice had weaker sensorimotor gating. • C57BL/6N mice were more sensitive to amphetamine challenge in the open field. • The protein expression in prefrontal cortex of C57BL/6N was distinct from 129X1/SvJ.
