Summary:According to the authors, rapid products have to be prepared in a very different context than standard systematic reviews and have tremendous methodological variation, and there is little empiric evidence on the validity of their results and conclusions. According to Papageorgiou c.s. the reporting of the study design in orthodontics should be improved.\n Using cancer registry data combined with simulated patterns of underreporting of deceased cases, the authors concluded that the DCO proportions derived for the restricted period are a better indicator of potential bias than DCO proportions for the full period.
