Establishment of an induced pluripotent stem cell line (SDCHi001-A) from a healthy Chinese child donor

We recruited a healthy 6-year-old Chinese Han male, obtained his peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and successfully established induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) line using non-integrated reprogramming technology. The iPSC line possessed normal karyotype, expressed pluripotency markers...

Summary:We recruited a healthy 6-year-old Chinese Han male, obtained his peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) and successfully established induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) line using non-integrated reprogramming technology. The iPSC line possessed normal karyotype, expressed pluripotency markers and could differentiate into three germ layers in vitro. This cell line will serve as an available control in the research of molecular pathogenesis and a basis for disease modeling.
