Summary:In advanced uterine cervical cancer, external radiotherapy with intracavitary brachytherapy has been established as a curative treatment method. However, in an environment where brachytherapy is difficult to perform, there has been an attempt to use only external radiotherapy. We report the results of eight patients over 65 years of age with advanced uterine cervical cancer who refused brachytherapy and obtained successful results through external radiotherapy alone.
