Summary:A taxonomic revision of the genus Primula in Uzbekistan is presented including a key, complete synonymy and distribution for all taxa with distribution maps. The present study has established the rich diversity of Primula species in Uzbekistan with a record total of 13 species. The species is recognized and grouped into seven sections. Most of the species (38%) belong to the section Cortusa. Two species, Primula pamirica and Primula pskemensis were recorded as a new species for the flora of Uzbekistan.
