Summary: | Given the widespread use of servant leadership in organizations, the purpose of our study was to examine the relationship between servant leadership, creativity, feedback-seeking behavior, and affective climate. We hypothesized that servant leadership promotes creativity through encouraging employees’ feedback-seeking behavior. Additionally, affective climate can moderate the mediated relationship. Based on a sample of 388 full-time employees and their supervisors from a Chinese high-tech company, the results indicated that servant leadership can predict employees’ creativity, mediated by feedback seeking. The moderating effect of affective climate on the mediated relationship, however, was not supported in our sample. |
