Summary:Abstract The Cubicin Outcomes Registry and Experience (CORE), was designed to retrospectively collect the real-world postmarking experience of patients who received daptomycin. A standardized case report form was used by trained investigators from 45 institutions across the United States. Data on 1,160 patients from November 2003 until December 2004 were collected on demographics, infections, treatments and outcomes at the end of daptomycin therapy. The data from CORE 2004 provide insight into the early clinical use of daptomycin.
