Summary:Cavernous venous malformations are a well recognized major pathologic categories of vascular malformations of the nervous system usually an incidental finding on routine imaging. These lesions are relatively rare in spinal cord and whenever present can lead to severe neurological deterioration due to significant hemorrhage and consequent mass effect. We present two such cases of spinal cord involvement and in brief described their imaging feature. They need to be armed with the appropriate knowledge of how to recognize and timely intervene.
