Split of cyclotron resonance induced by in-plane magnetic field in two-dimensional electron system

The in-plane magnetic field (B∥) dependence of cyclotron mass (mC) in two-dimensional electron system has been measured. In addition to the increment of mC with B∥, the split of mC by B∥ is observed near the filling factor of Landau level ν=2. Some possible origins on this splitting are discussed....
